Tom Ott

Coach Ott graduated from Montoursville High School in 1989 and comes from a baseball family. Coach Ott’s uncle, Ed Ott, was a catcher for the 1979 World Series Champion Pittsburgh Pirates.

Coach Ott was a successful pitcher / infielder, and four-year letterman on his high school varsity baseball team. He started at 3B as a freshman on his 1986 high school team that placed 2nd in the State. His 1987 team was ranked #3 in the pre season in the country by USA Today.

Also, during his playing days, Coach Ott was a starting pitcher/ infielder on his American Legion team that posted a 46-4 record and finished 2nd in the state of Pennsylvania to the eventual American Legion World Series Champion, Boyertown Bears.

Coach Ott has coached at all levels including youth baseball programs, junior baseball teams, successful travel teams and high school. He has also served as a private instructor over the past five years.

For the past two years, Coach Ott has managed the Montoursville Junior L.L. team that was the 2010 Pennsylvania State Champion and 2011 Pennsylvania State runner-up. His teams combined for a 21-3 record over those two seasons.

In addition to coaching the Junior L.L. team, he has coached the Warrior Travel Baseball team, which is an elite travel baseball team in Central Pennsylvania. Over the past four years, his travel team has compiled a 65-12 record with numerous tournament 1st-place finishes. His travel teams have played teams from NY, NJ, MD, MA, OH, CT, RI, VA, and PA.

Coach Ott has a very strong background in baseball and has a passion for teaching baseball the right way. He enjoys the life lessons that can be taught to players on the field such as building character, perseverance, leadership skills and overall team unity.

Coach Ott is also involved with the EvoShield Canes Mid Atlantic baseball organization where he’ll be the head coach for the EvoShield Canes 16U Prospects squad for the 2012 summer. For more information on this organization please visit www.evoshieldcanesma.com.

He currently resides in Montoursville, PA with his wife Diane. They have 3 sons, Cameron, Nolan, and Logan.

Al House

Coach House graduated from Cowanesque Valley High School where he played in four sports: baseball, football, wrestling and track. He was awarded many honors and was inducted into the Tioga County Sports Hall of Fame in 2008.

He graduated from Mansfield University in 1988 with a Secondary Education degree.

Coach House has coached at many different levels including 20 years of high school at three different schools in the area. He was part of the coaching staff at Cowanesque Valley High School, Williamsport High School, and Loyalsock Township High School. Collectively, they won seven district titles and played in two state championships. He also has coached teams at the youth levels for over eight years in South Williamsport where they won three league championships.

Coach House has a passion to teach baseball the right way. He has attended and given numerous camps and clinics over the years and has spent the last twenty plus years sharing the knowledge gained from these experiences. He has a desire to help the area youth improve their athletic skills and build positive character qualities.

He resides in South Williamsport, PA with his wife Jane. They have three children, Alyssa, Tyler, and Jaela.
